When Typhoon Lekima hits China, Shouguang city, Shandong Province, caught public attention.
August 12th, press release from Shouguang Municipal Government shows that from 9 A.M. August 10th to 10 P.M. August11th, Shouguang city witnessed an average rainfall of 287.4mm, whichhas outnumbered the rainfall of Typhoon Rumbia last year, ranking the heaviest rainfall since the year of 1959. Rainfall caused by Lekima this time has caused Shouguang city direct money loss reaching RMB 1,000,000,000.
